The owners of the motel were extremely welcoming and very nice. The location is in the middle of nowhere, yet it is close to the ferry terminal in picton. If we would have known that this area is so beautiful, we would have booked the ferry one day later!

A warm welcome, helpful friendly owners, a pleasant night. Road access currently not for the fainthearted in the dark - winding and under repair, but a beautiful place off the beaten track to wake up refreshed and enjoy the beauty. Thank you!

It was a quiet time of year and we had time to chat with the managers and found them most friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a good size and the shower had good pressure.
A soap tray and/or some sort of stand for shampoo would have been helpful in the shower. Although dish brushes get dirty quickly, they should still be provided and most ladies do not like to have their hands in hot water.

Owners were very friendly!
Booked.net confirmed a price 40$ in total for 2 people. When we arrived we found out Booked.net made a mistake and it's 40$ per person. We still stayed as the facilities were excellent and we thought it was worth it.

The peaceful location (between Havelock and Picton on a windy road) was 2k from the Queen Charlotte Track, which is a must-do.

No egg slice, and just the bare minimum of other utensils. managed to water all over the floor from the shower curtain not being affixed to the wall The stairway to the upper level creates a lot of noise
